COMPANY BACKGROUND
Established in 1988 as a small repair facility rebuilding air compressors, PSI started out of a garage, with no real plans for expansion. Even still, PSI unexpectedly grew into a large business!
PSI began its relations with the Telecommunications Industry (Telco’s) in the air pressure sector 30 years ago. We are proud to say we have maintained relations with some of our first customers since then.
PSI has watched the Telecommunications industry change immensely over the years. When PSI was established, back in 1988 our first customer was Southwestern Bell. At that time, there were more than thirty Telco’s located throughout the US.
Today, there are 2 big players, AT&T and Verizon, and a few small independent companies. PSI found a niche market as a parts supplier for all types of air dryers, becoming a one-stop shop for the Telco’s air pressure needs. As the only supplier in the industry offering every dryer manufacturer’s parts, we quickly became a value added supplier. Being a small, woman owned and operated company increased our value add to our customers and our business continued to grow.
Lisa LaBanc and her father, Gary Wieland, founded PSI. Gary has informally retired, spending much of his time perfecting his golf game, while Lisa is at the helm and plans to be for many years to come. In fact, she couldn’t be more excited about the accomplishments from the last 30 years, our diversification and of course the new direction that the company is taking. The best is yet to come!

FACTORY INFORMATION
PSI currently owns and operates 65,000 sq. ft. of dedicated manufacturing, production, warehousing and executive office space in Northeast Ohio. We have completed the construction of an additional 15,000 sq. ft. to meet out clients needs and deliver customized end-to-end solutions.
